Cobli’s solution helps logistics operations increase their efficiency. With an average usage time of 3 hours per day, fleets across the country use our system to dynamically make decisions, route their fleets, increase the performance of their field teams, and more.


  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines for optimal ingestion, transformation, storage and computation using the latest big data technologies
  • Work with engineering and product teams to understand requirements, evaluate new features and architectures to help drive decisions
  • Translate complex business requirements into a scalable, efficient and high availability data platform. Strong ownership of the full backend stack - from design through to deploy and beyond
  • Care deeply about software best practices and are dedicated to ensuring quality via testing, benchmarking and peer review
  • Grow a performant production environment in a way that makes the system increasingly maintainable, reliable and monitored
  • Write clean and modular code that will make it easier to maintain, update, and scale.
  • Find creative and simple solutions to challenging problems
  • Dedicate yourself to continue learning and improving, and enjoy helping others grow around you


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field
  • Very good programming skills in Scala, Java or Kotlin and a passion for functional programming
  • Passionate about the craft of software development and constantly work to improve your knowledge and skills
  • Experience writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code
  • Experience designing, implementing and scaling big data solutions on public cloud
  • Experience with building/operating highly available systems
  • Experience architecting and operating large data pipelines
  • Experience with time series is a plus.
  • Experience working with various data sources like unstructured data files, flat files, message queues, JSON based events, databases.
  • Experience writing high-performance, reliable and maintainable code
  • Strong background in design and implementation of scalable architecture and a good understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns and systems architectures
  • Solid Cloud experience in either AWS, Google Cloud Platform or MS Azure
  • Experience with Unix/Linux and shell scripting
  • Critical thinker, who speaks out and defends views
  • Exceptional written English communication skills


  • Good knowledge of the JVM, having assembled and deployed JVM applications
  • Familiar with continuous integration, logging and monitoring and have experience with setting up comprehensive testing and monitoring frameworks from the ground up
  • Have knowledge in one or more of the following: NoSQL (especially, but not only Cassandra), Queueing system experience (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Kinesis), Akka library
  • Have practical experience with one or more distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark, Apache Beam, Google Cloud Dataflow, Flink, Storm, Samza or similar
  • Passion for building distributed systems in an asynchronous problem space
  • Knowledge of performance testing, application tuning, and load testing
